CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
April 22, 2024 - 5:30 p.m. - City Hall
A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Douglas on April 22, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Peterson, Nelson and Hodges; Cruz and Tull were absent. Staff present was City Clerk, Dawne Bowman and City Administrator, Allison Kitzman. Colleen Larimer was a visitor.
Nelson made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried. Hodges made a motion to approve 4/08/24 special meeting minutes, seconded by Nelson, all ayes, motion carried. Nelson made a motion to approve 4/08/24 meeting minutes, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried. Hodges made a motion to approve payment of the bills, seconded by Peterson, all ayes, motion carried.
At 5:30PM Nelson opened the Public Hearing Budget Adoption FY25, seconded by Peterson. There were no comments heard from the public. At 5:31PM Peterson closed the Public Hearing, seconded by Nelson.
Peterson made a motion to approve Resolution 24- 16 Budget Adoption FY25, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried.
Peterson made a motion to approve Special Events Permit Application for Farmer's Market from Lenox Area Chamber of Commerce, seconded by Nelson, all ayes, motion carried.
Peterson made a motion to approve Special Events Permit Application for Old Fashion Fun Night from Lenox Area Chamber of Commerce, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried.
Peterson made a motion to approve Country Club Agreement with DMT Golf, LLC for 2024 season, seconded by Nelson, all ayes, motion carried.
Nelson made a motion to approve Casey's General Store Tobacco Permit, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried.
Peterson made a motion to approve 28E Agreement Shared Employee Program with School and LMU, seconded by Nelson, all ayes, motion carried.
Hodges made a motion to approve Resolution 24- 17 Regarding CD's located at ISSB, seconded by Peterson, all ayes, motion carried. Kitzman mentioned the following CD's would be renewed for another 12 months with APY of 4.50%: Equipment Replacement, General Reserve, Housing Rehab, Hwy 49 and Main Street Development.
Peterson motioned to adjourn the meeting, Nelson seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5:44 PM.
