CITY OF LENOX

A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Pro Tem Bowman on November 14, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Bowman, Tull, Zabel and Cruz; Nelson was absent. Staff present was City Administrator, Allison Kitzman. Visitor attending was Colleen Larimer.

Zabel made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried. Tull made a motion to approve 10/24/22 meeting minutes, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried. Tull made a motion to approve the payment of bills, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried. Zabel made a motion to approve the Clerk Treasurer Report for October 2022, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried.

Zabel made a motion to approve Resolution 22- 37 Wage Rate for Dayna Robinson, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried.

Zabel made a motion to approve the Annual Financial Report FY22, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried.

Kitzman discussed a grant opportunity through the USDA that would fund 75% of project costs to be used for equipment or vehicles with a maximum of $50,000. Kitzman would like to apply on behalf of the fire department for new gear and possibly funding toward a new truck. Kitzman also explained that there will need to be a public hearing once the application is submitted which will be held in December. Zabel made a motion to approve Resolution 22 - 38 to Apply for Financial Assistance with the USDA, Rural Development, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried.

Tull motioned to adjourn the meeting, Cruz seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5:40 P.M.
