Spring

Farm & Toy Show /Auction Held the third full week on Saturday in January
Valentine Gift Basket Give Away Valentine Day gift basket give away February 14
Rural/Urban Ag Day Breakfast In March, expressing appreciation for the livestock and grain production industry.  (The second Saturday of March)
Easter Egg Hunt The day before Easter at the Elementry School grounds for all area children
Bowl-A-Rama Held second weekend in April, a bowling tournament held at Lenox Lanes.
Teacher Appreciation Held in April, honoring teachers and staff for their dedication and commitment.
Lenox Annual Alumni Banquet Held the Saturday before Memorial Day in the Lenox Community High School building.

Summer

RAT Ride The first Saturday of June, starting at the Lenox City Park.  This is the annual bicycle Ride Around Taylor County.  The ride features routes of short, medium and long lengths.
City Wide Garage Sales The first Saturday of June, including a variety of yard and garage sales as well as merchant sidewalk sales.

Lenox Calf and Lamb Show Usually held the last Saturday in June.
Rodeo Parade Held on Main Street, usually the third full week of July, on Wednesday
Old Fashioned Fun Night Family Fun activities are held on Main Street before and after the Lenox Rodeo Parade.
Lenox Rodeo The third full week of July.  The Lenox Rodeo, sponsored by The Lenox Stock & Saddle Club www.lenoxrodeo.com, attracts thousands to three nightly performances (Thurs., Fri., Sat.).  The Lenox Rodeo is sanctioned by the United Rodeo Association.  Missouri Rodeo Cowboys' Association and Iowa Rodeo Cowboys' Association.

Recipe Night Held the first Wednesday in December, visit various businesses for a taste and recipe
Christmas Carnival The Friday after Thanksgiving at the American Legion Building.  This proves to be a fun afternoon for the kids with a variety of activities including picture taking with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause.
Bright Lights and Shining Hospitality Kick off is the Friday night after Thanksgiving in the Lenox City Park, with the turning on of the Christmas lights and holiday scenes.  Small towns get no brighter than the Town of Lenox with its Bright Lights and Shining Hospitality and its brilliance of color during the holiday season!  Numerous lights, trees and scenes are featured throughout the entire town, as well as the country side leading to Lenox.  You haven't experienced a rural Christmas - until you visit the Lenox Area!
